Watched Julie & Julia

Hi all,
I watched Julie & Julia on the weekend and i loved it. Wasn't expecting "that" sort of storyline or ending but it was a journey to watch. Firstly with the performance, Meryl Streep just gets better and better with each movie she does. Here we dont see Meryl Streep, but JULIA. Her overly over the top character takes you by suprise and in a comical way. IT's enjoyable. Amy Adams is a revelation. She emotes so well, that you move with her character every step of the movie. She cries, feels desperate to finish her goal for the year...no one understanding....i think anyone can follow this.

Throughout the movie, it goes by 2 stories. One for Amy ( JULIE) and one for Meryl (JULIA). Not once does it overlap and make you feel confused, was so nicely done that you can follow the story. Total idiot proof!

It starts with both the characters moving away to their new found home, obviously with their partners....however doing routine chores didnt cut it. Another interest was found - for Julia it was learning to cook, for Julie it was writting a blog about how Julia has influenced her and changed her life. And how she starts a 365 day mission to finish 524 recipes....all from Julia's book. So this is the main story line. Everything happens around this...untill Julie's blog gets so interesting - that people start send her ingredients to try. There was an editor who came to interview her, her offers as a writer started to pour in as well.....until one call changed all that.

You have to watch this movie in the theathers. It's nice. Go for the ride and enjoy all those beautiful dishes, and it's inspiring and comical moments. Somethings we seem to always do!
Enjoy
